株式会社我妻組は、令和４年８月３日、福島県いわき市のガスターミナル沈下修正工事現場のガスターミナル建物地下の作業坑内において、労働者に手掘りでの掘削作業を行わせるに当たり、掘削の業務における作業方法から生ずる危険を防止するため必要な措置を講じなかった。その結果、同構造物の一部が崩落し、死亡する事故を発生させた。 このことが労働安全衛生法に違反するとして、令和７年４月11日、いわき簡易裁判所から罰金30万円の略式命令を受け、令和７年５月１日にこれが確定している。 このことは、建設業法第28条第１項第３号に該当する。
