令和2年11月3日、鹿児島県薩摩川内市の山林において、イマオージ株式会社の労働者が運搬車を使用して資材の運搬作業中、当該運搬車とともに斜面から転落し、負傷する事故が発生した。 この件に関し、当該労働者が負傷し4日以上休業したにも関わらず、所轄の川内労働基準監督署長に対し、遅滞なく、労働者死傷病報告を提出せず、法令に定める報告をしなかったことで、川内簡易裁判所から労働安全衛生法違反により、同社及び同社代表取締役に対しそれぞれ罰金20万円の略式命令があり、令和5年（2023年）12月29日、その刑が確定した。
