同社の前社長は令和２年１２月下旬頃から令和５年８月中旬頃にかけ、６回にわたり、余市町発注の複数の建物解体工事に関連し、事業費算出のための参考見積を提出する業者に選ばれた見返りとして、役場課長に合計４２万円相当の商品券を供与した。 上記事由について、札幌地方裁判所において、懲役１０月（執行猶予３年）の刑が確定した。 このことは、建設業法第２８条第１項第３号に該当するものである。
